Hooking up propane grill to propane quick connect on 2200BH?

I'm researching ways to connect a propane grill to my camper's propane quick connect, by the outdoor kitchen area. I was looking at this and was wondering if anyone has any experience with this kind of setup?

https://www.campingworld.com/weber-q...E&gclsrc=aw.ds

Thanks in advance!

If you already have a Weber grill, they sell the adapter hose. I carry a third 7 gal cylinder so I don’t use my quick connect.

Whatever grill you decide to use if connected to the QD of your rv can not have a regulator on the grill as your QD line is already regulated from the onboard regulator which would ultimately be double regulated with one at the grill resulting in a very low, if any, flame.
The Weber shown has the QD fitting on the hose so apparently the regulator has been removed & should work. I have the Weber grill & have been using it for about 10 years so in my opinion that would be a good choice.

I use something similar with my griddle, bought the hose on amazon. And I would echo @travelintexans comment that it needs to connect directly to the grill and not the grill’s regulator.

We use a NexGrill that connects to the trailer QC at the outdoor kitchen. We bought a QC “Y” so we can run both at the same time. NexGrill was about $100 at Home Depot and the fitting and hose was another $20-$30 on Amazon (Dozyant brand).

We unscrewed the hose and regulator from the grill and screwed on a QC male nipple and bought a hose with QC fittings from Amazon.

My Avalanche does not have a QD for the propane and although I could easily remedy that I've chosen instead to purchase an 11 pound tank which also allows me to use my turkey fryer /shrimp boiling burner which requires a 10 psi regulator.

Light weight, easy-to-use and plenty for a week of grilling steak, breakfast on the Blackstone and a shrimp boil or fish fry.

^^^For me this is the answer. I don't use the quick connect on the RV.

I used this fitting on the 30# bottle with a 25' hose similar to the one shown that I had made by a LP dealer so I could put the grill or fire pit wherever desired.

Smile Low pressure QC

We had our propane QC out the back of our Passport GT 2820, so we used a QC tee and connected the outside kitchen and our propane grill using

one of these.

Then we replaced the inlet on our grill with one of these regulators from CAMCO, that also has a QC tip.

Now we can grill and cook up some baked bean and mashed taters at the same time.

Cheers

One other thing to look for. With a propane quick connection in outside kitchen. Some have a valve you have to turn on in addition to turning on the propane. On mine you have to get down to find it because it’s under the slide out kitchen.

My QC is near the front, I do not have an outdoor kitchen I have a Blackstone griddle and I got the hose and nipple for the Blackstone from Propanegear.com

https://propanegear.com/blackstone-1...t-m-f-qc-hose/
They seem to have everything you need and want from this site
