Crack in fiberglass across the slide

Hi, thanks for the add. I’m fairly new to the keystone world, last July I purchased a brand new 2021 Keystone Bullet 330bhs. I went to look at it for the first time this spring since the snow melted and noticed a long crack going almost all the way across my kitchen slide. Has this happened to anyone else. My dealer is currently working on it and filed a claim with keystone as we speak

Dropped it off at the dealer yesterday, this camper is the biggest piece of crap that I have ever seen in my life. The fiberglass has buckled above the slide that is cracked, the furnace crapped out twice, every pipe in this camper has leaked multiple times and will not stop, I now have mold growing in the bathroom cabinet, the belly was full of water so lord knows what is growing in there, the AC keeps on tripping after it runs for a while and the list goes on. 17 issues that I have had in one year.
My dealer so far has been nothing but the best trying to help me out, I hope Keystone comes good for this and takes it back because I am done with this thing.

Sad to say, Keystone will never take it back. Many have tried, none have been successful.

Man that’s not good…I wonder if it could have been caused by closing the slide with something on the floor getting jammed betweeen the kitchen island…if the bottom stopped but the top of the slide kept trying to close…or if the slide itself was just closed and the button held too long causing undo stress….( not blaming you)

Just weird that it was would crack over the winter with no use and sitting static..unless ice formed inside?
…did you continue to use the trailer while the pipes were leaking?…sounds like it should have spent the winter at the dealer or as soon as you noticed the first water leak…..

Don’t take it the wrong way but it sounds like a long slow painful death with ongoing water problems not being addressed other then a single catastrophic event…..the furnaces are well known glitchy touchy appliances…
Good luck and I hope you get it resolved…rv’s of any price range require ongoing constant upkeep and adjustments

Nothing was ever stuck between the slide and island. My dealer was notified every time there was an issue. I was told to drop it off in the fall when camping season was over. It’s not my first camper.

Well good luck with it. Hope it gets resolved. Sounds like at least you have a good dealer to work with

So far so good, the dealership has been very understanding and thanked me for keeping my cool and not losing my **** over this.

I have a neighbor at a seasonal campground that I stay at who has the same identical camper as me, he has never had one issue. I hope this pans out

When they do take a unit back and replace it, you have to sign a non-disclosure form. Don't ask me how I know this. Lol. Good luck , keep us posted.

I use to work at Boeing....even at those prices, crap happens.
I've seen it with my own eyes, and I've complained about it, and I am told to STFU by the Union pukes, and the CYA mentality out there by other workers.

Yeah, it's all about $$$$$

That is the Golden Rule

I have had the same issue with the leak in my second bathroom. Found the fitting connection was loose. Tightened it up and leak stopped. Other than that no real issues with mine. Hope everything works out for you.
