New rig shakedown trip...tank sensor issue

So our family took out our new rig for a 5 night stay in Northeast GA over the holiday weekend. All went well but we did discover an issue where our #2 grey tank always reads empty. Almost certain that our grey tank #2 is the one the kitchen sink is connected to.

We have the In-Command system so our tank sensors are connected to some sort of sensor gateway that is then connected to the In-Command system.

I checked the plug at the In-Command BCM and it looks fine. When I disconnect it the other tanks read empty and when reconnected they display the appropriate levels.

Knowing that RV tank sensors are not very reliable anyway, I would still expect new grey tank sensors to work out of the gate.

Any ideas for troubleshooting?

My first guess would be a bad ground at the gray tank sensor pack.

Better double check which tanks are which. Mine are labelled backwards.

Black 1 and Grey 2 are the "front" tanks, and Black 2 / Grey 1 are the "rear" set. Makes perfect sense lol.

Also - have you tried tank flush? I betcha a dollar you need to flip the check valves - front is under 1/2 bath sink, and rear is under kitchen sink.

You could fill grey with fresh water and see to troubleshoot...check labelling, etc.
