Loose step

We have the Cougar 326RDS fifth wheel with the raised living area in the back. One of the steps has become unattached and goes down when we step on it. It there a way to pull that step up from the inside to give us access to fix it?

Since there are different types of steps, you may want to post an image. I can't imagine my steps doing this so your steps are likely different type. Not a bad idea to put your year/make/model of your camper and tow vehicle in a signature that appears below your posts to give them some context. Signature can be edited if you click on the UserCP button on the black bar at the top left of each page.

Are you talking about the one of the interior steps to the raise living area?

The step treads are usually screwed down from underneath. You may have to remove a drawer next to the steps, or if you have rear storage, remove the front wall.
