Bedroom TV install help needed

We have a 2013 26SAB Cougar Lite 5th wheel. Trying to install a TV mount in the bedroom for a 19” TV. We were told there should be a 12”x12” backer board where the sticker is located. Has any one successful accomplished this? Used a stud finder with minimal luck. Three holes and still have not hit that board. A picture would be great. My photo loaded sideways.

I don't have your model trailer but close to wherever your factory installed TV / wall plug cable plugs are located should be that back brace area.. my plug and connections were actually on the roof and the backer was to the right and down on the wall... I used the old fashioned knock on the wall method of finding it.. and yes mine was about 12"x12"... I could hear the thud when I knocked on the wall, if I hit just wall with nothing behind it, it sounded hollow.. old school but worked for me...

Luan is thin and flexes between studs. I was thinking you could push in with the heel of your hand until you felt either a stud or a backer. Then use the studfinder once you're in the ball park to determine the exact location.

I'm wondering the same thing and just send off and email to keystone asking if they could send me some diagram of the locations for my trailer model. Having installed a few other items in "safe places" pretty sure that no wires are behind...I would second the 'press and feel' method as i could find voids in the walls.

Bill I tried that with mine but apparently the aluminum wall studs in that area are also used to support my awning there seemed to be a lot of those in that location as well...so I was having issues using a stud finder at all... but its old too..lol

The seams on the vinyl boards that cover the walls on any trailer are split right in the middle of the aluminum or wood sidewall sides and if you look real closely, you can spot them if you look a little from the side.
