Rear crank windows

Greetings all,

Quick question....we are on our shakedown cruise with our 2020 Bullet. Every thing going well, except one thing we can’t figure out.

How do you open the crank windows at the rear of the trailer? There are 2 knobs but they are so close to the frame that they can’t turn. We can’t see any other way to open them.

Any help opening our eyes would be appreciated!

JC

Those knobs are what operates the windows. They are a bit hard to turn. Ours are very close to the lambrequins (window surrounds). We don't use that window as there are 7 others that open normally. YMMV

Ours were the same way, but we caught it during PDI and service tech changed out the knobs with the extended Z shaped handles. Much easier to open now.

To answer your original question- clockwise will open window and counter clockwise will close them.

They may be real sticky and if it seems like turning the knob isn’t working, turn until you feel resistance and then go out side and gently pull on the bottom edge of the glass. It should release from the rubber seal, and once it does, spray some dry silicone on a rag and wipe the seals.

Solution

Thanks everyone,

I sent my dealer a video of the problem. After checking other units in his lot, he found Keystone out the wrong knobs on those windows.

Keystone is sending new knobs to our snowbird park

Did you ever get the new knobs? What style are they? We have the same issue and will be contacting the dealer. Thank you

I did get the new knobs. They have a longer shaft and clear the window frame...all good now
