Leaking Slide Gear Drives

I have a2018 Raptor and all my slide roofs had the bubbles in the middle of the slide roofs... Had to fight with Keystone to have new roofs put on...This has been going on for a few years now...The fix they want to do is a patch but I insisted on new roofs because they have a 12-year warranty and they won't give you a 12-year guarantee...If this is what happened to you, you may want to reach out to pissedconsumer.com they were a big help for me !!! Good luck

Yeah, Norco was great. They also sent me 3 of the pans. But then my dealer got involved and got mine repaired under warranty.

If you read the fine print only the roof material, EDPM or TPO, is warranted. Leaking motors or faulty installation is not covered, only a defect in the material for 12 years.

Thanks to this forum, I figured out where the bubbles on my slide roof came from. Called Norco last week and they sent me a drip pan at no cost. Stopped by a local RV dealer and they gifted me a small roll of Eternabond. I took apart the slide today, installed the drip pan, fixed the bubbles on the inner edge of the slide roof and also secured the motor wires better. Put it all back together and job took less than 90 minutes. Tomorrow I will fix the outer set of bubbles and it will be done. I am just over the 1 year warranty, and it might have been covered, but I am not about to drop it off for the work to “maybe” be done under warranty, and “maybe” be completed sometime this year, so I did it myself (it really isn’t difficult if you have the tools.

I just completed the exterior roof repair following the Keystone Service Bulletin instructions. Absolutely amazing what a couple of drops of oil does to that roof membrane!

Bulldog

I hope to never need this but, can you post the service bulletin instructions?
