Need help with 2012 keystone cougar slideout

We have a 2012 keystone cougar that our son uses when he works out of town. When he was preparing the camper to bring home, there was a loud pop as the kitchen slide came to rest. Now it won’t go back out. You can hear the motor but no movement. Any ideas as to what the problem is?

Any info on the type of slide out?

I have a 2012 springdale - had a similar issue. I have the gear driven slide - one of the pins which attaches the drive shaft to one end sheared off.
A new bolt through the shaft (after re-aligning the two sides, and it has been good for the last 2 years..

Thanks for the responses.
From what i can tell, it looks like a Lippert.
The post from cjm makes sense. It doesn’t look like the teeth move but I do hear the motor hum.
Could you take care of it yourself or did you get it serviced? Just curious as to whether it was a difficult job.
