water hose hookup halfway back on my carbon 357??? what is it?

I have a hose hookup about halfway down the side of my trailer (I believe its right above the wheels). what is this for? I've never used it.

The hose (if it located on the underbelly) is probably one of two low point drains. One hose (red) is for the HW line the other (blue) for the CW line. When you winterize -if you do - unscrew the caps (or open the valves) and let the water drain out. After the interior lines are clear of water, replace the caps BEFORE you pump pink RV antifreeze though the lines. The hoses may or may not be colored.

The hose may also be a drain for the FW tank. Again, when you winterize, open the drain and let the water drain from the tank. Replace the cap or close the valve.

If the hose has a fitting for a regular garden hose, it could also be for the black tank flush or a city water hookup.

I have found the low point drain lines (on my rig they're conveniently right inside the control panel box..)

the hookup I'm talking about is a water nose hookup (exactly like the fresh water hose hookup inside the control panel). It's on the side of the camper and obvisouly designed to hook a hose up to. Just like the winteriz/flush/water hookups inside the panel.

no idea what exactly it's for.

It's the blackwater flush for the rear toilet.

Thanks much.

Dealer didn't explain that. I've been using the main flush hookup only, believing that it was flushing both tanks.
