Wonderful Buying Experience

I took possession of my new Passport 23RB yesterday from Candy's Campers in Murfreesboro, TN. The entire experience was top notch. The service manager had done a PDI already so he was ready for my list. Everything was perfect on the camper. I'm sure things will show up as I use it, but I was totally surprised and happy with the camper.

As I went through the camper, I decided on a couple upgrades, specifically adding a slide topper and changing the Dometic 300 plastic commode for the 320s porcelain version. I may or may not add a Fantastic or MaxxAir fan, but will hold off on that until later. I had previously sent them a Brute 4500 tongue jack with remote and they had already installed it.

If you're in Central TN, you cannot go wrong with this dealer. The service manager seems like a great guy and I look forward to working with him if/when it becomes necessary.

The finance person did not even try to upsell me any "protectant" or ESPs. She gave me a brochure about the ESP they offer and said to read it and decide before the first year runs out.

Great experience all around.

Oh, forgot to mention, I love this layout.

As Chuckster said it is ALWAYS great to hear these kinds of stories. Sounds like you've found a good dealership and a good service manager.....they are worth a fortune.

You will love the tongue jack......now go out and have some GREAT times with it. Good luck and happy camping!

Well to be honest, I was prepared for the worst. I would have been ready to walk away if things were too bad. My previous Class C was a nightmare on delivery, even though the manufacturer made everything right. It took me 4 days at the factory before it was right.

Then reading the various RV Forms, again I was ready for the worst.

So it does my heart good to report the good news. I feel really good about the camper and can't wait to hit the road. Currently provisioning the new camper and not in a huge rush. I won't travel until I get the updates installed. The slide topper isn't a huge deal, but I think it is only fair to the service folks not to use the current commode before they swap it out.

Happy Camper here.

Glad to hear the kudos on your dealer. You don't nearly hear that as much as the dealer bashing! I would definitely support them as much as possible!
