Sewer Attachment

Looking at a couple of different sewer hose attachments. One is a 45dg clear angled attachment. And the other is a 90dg clear view attachment.Any opinion as to which one is better?

I have used both, but I prefer the 45. It's probably a matter of personal preference, but IMO the 45 is enough with the sewer hose being flexible.

I have a 90 that connects the hose to the campground sewer pipe but I connect the hose directly to the camper output connection.

x2 on the 45. IMHO a 90 at the RV end would be too much more often than not.

Howdy All;

I use a 6" straight clear connecter from the RV to the flex hose.

This thread is being moved from the "Technical Corner" to "General RV Issues" section of the forum. As important as plumbing is to any RV, it's a "fur stretch" to think of it as "Discussions regarding technical aspects of RVing. GPS, Satellite TV, Stereos and other high tech items."

Anyway, please continue with any comments or added discussion.

Thanks

Poop is persistent, among other things, so 45, 90 or straight-through probably won't make a difference.

The more important issue is to get a clear section in order to evaluate the degree of black tank flush. If you close the dump valve during the flush cycle, time it and don't get distracted. I know that watching the clear section can be mesmerizing , but distractions can occur and time can fly to the detriment of your trailer and your ego. That's when having a drone to record the carnage would be handy.
