Main slide (cable driven) out drains battery when extending and retracting. The slide out is out further at the top than at the bottom. Both bottom cable at each end of the slide out are very slack, 1.5 inches movement up and down. If the slide out is out of adjustment can it drain the battery?

Albert T,
The cable slide system is manufactured by BAL Industries, it's called an Accu-slide system. Go to their web site and download their manual, that's what I did. Didn't receive one with the 5er info packet. Your room as it slides in and out could be binding. If I remember right the manual says you want only 3/4" slack max up and down. I have had to adjust mine a couple times over the years, easy to do. With my batteries at full charge they drain quick with that drive motor, I try to have it connected to 120V when I move them in and out if possible. Happy Campin...
