Bees anyone

Hello all,
Went camping this weekend and walked around the back corner of my TH to get attacked by Hornets!!!!!!!!! The camper has been parked in a park all summer. We last used it only two weeks ago and even had the tailgate down with no problems. I can't believe those things built a nest as big as a gallon milk jug in two weeks. The nest was located under the side panel and hooked on to the tail light wiring. Anyone else ever had this kind of thing happen to them

I just got out of the hospital. Walking threw a field watching a motorcycle race and stung by what I presume was one bee. Lucky their were paramedics at the race and I was rushed by ambulance to the hospital. Not fun when your throat swells shut and deadly if you are not near a hospital. Now I have to keep a emergency EpiPen and Benadryl with me at all times.

I never thought a grown person could die from a bee sting. Be careful with them.

My Sunday...

Dang Randy I hope all is well now!!!!
I have an employee that carries an EpiPen at all times with him. He even has given a course to me, all my drivers and the office help what to do if he is stung.
Take care..

@Randy - yeowch! Sorry to hear. Glad you're doing better.

@wbatto - Shame you're not closer to me, would offer to help you remove the nest from the rig. Coworker used to freak out when I'd catch wasps, hornets, and bees with my bare hands *laf*

I had a neighbor die from bee stings. He was doing some cleaning around his property and picked up an old log, got stung more than 200 times by wasps.

My DW got stung on the back of her arm while driving. Unfortunately, she was merging onto a road at the time and jerked the steering wheel. It all happened so fast, the front wheel caught the median, jumped up over it and hit a large landscaping boulder dead center. The skid plate on the Z71 did it's job and protected the suspension launching the suburban in the air bringing it down on the rock just behind the front doors. It took two tow trucks about 2 hours to get it lifted of the rock and on a flatbed. Amazing what 1 little bee can do.

Randy - I am allergic to bees - I carry an Epipen in the trailer, one in my purse, 2 in my house.
wbatto - I was in my backyard one day and everything was fine - woke up the next morning with a volleyball size paper wasp nest hanging from the corner of my garage. They built that thing in about 8 - 9 hours. DH put a kitchen size garbage bag around it closed it over the nest and dropped it from the overhang on the garage and tied that bag closed with duct tape (it fixes everything).
