Grills

I'm looking for a new Grill. I want one that I can use a griddle on I also cook with dutch ovens and cast iron skillets. I thought I wanted a weber Q 1000
because I could use a griddle on it then I saw the Volcano grill it uses gas charcoal or wood. I can grill on it, use my dutch oven, I can cook with my cast irons griddle and skillets.
Has anyone used the Volcano grill?

No experience with the Volcano, but we like the CampChef stove. I use my cast iron cookware on it and I have a reversible griddle for it that works great. The 30K BTU burners put out mega heat. You can't grill on it, but the Weber Baby Q takes care of that for steaks and chicken. If you are looking for an all-in-one, I can't help much there. I set up both of them to run off the trailer's low pressure quick connect so I only have to deal with one fuel source.

That grill looks nice. We always do the dutchoven in the fire pit. Good luck.

I have the collapsible volcano. A bit heavy but does what you said. I use charcoal for cooking but have used it with wood as a s'more making fire pit. Perfect little grill for pans or dutch oven.

I'm thinking of a green mountain Davy Crockett for my next one. Can't beat low&slow cooking once your set up at camp.
