With all the issues, I would have thought the buyers would have made sure everything worked before taking it after repairs.

And somewhere, on some forum, there's a post that says: I'm done with Heartland. I'll never buy another trailer from them. My next one will be a Keystone or a Jayco. I hear they are much better quality and their dealerships take care of their customers.....

The rust on the frame, made me laugh. It isn't that bad. Just spray with some rust converter or brush it off and paint again. They act like that's going to make the trailer split in half down the road. Maybe in 20 years or so, but not as it was...

If the sawdust is bugging them now, just wait when there’s still sawdust shaking out 6 years from now. I am curious on one thing - exactly how hard does someone need to pull on a frig handle to break the little bugger off? Did a 300 lb monkey throw his whole weight against it????

They likely pull open the door at an angle…and if anything spilled on the gaskets it can make the door difficult to open …glues it shut

The difference is I've seen posts online about things like locating the (rafters? roof trusses? whatever they're called) and they say they contacted the manufacturer and got blueprints; Keystone gives silence. Any information you request is considered proprietary. There is virtually zero support after the sale. All they say is "Take it to your dealer," as if it's impossible for the owner to maintain or repair anything. Case in point, the water pump. I can hear it, I think it's under the closet on the other side of the shower wall, but there's no access panel. If it breaks I have no idea how to reach it, and I'm sure the dealer will want a pretty penny to destroy the cabinet then patch it.

As for construction quality, my Winegard antenna points about 30 degrees toward the centerline when stowed; Winegard says in the manual that it should be installed pointing straight back. Winegard customer service told me it should be removed and re-installed properly. Gives me zero confidence that anything else was installed per manufacturer's specifications.
