Old Wax removal

Hi Guys,

Had a local kid wax my camper this year. Unfortunately, he waxed the lower "J panels" which are semi-matt finished. What's the best way to remove the wax residue without overthinking it?

Thanks, and Good Luck,

I would use “prep sol”. You can buy it at auto big box stores (like advanced auto parts). It is an aerosol spray. Spray it on rag and wipe down panels. Made specifically for removing wax materials prior to painting. Will not remove paint

. How heavy is the wax coating? I'd start by washing with a bucket of water with Dawn dish detergent first.

With a medium bristle brush to get into cracks & crevices, then if it's still a problem use the chemicals mentioned.
