Mine was the same way. If you open up the junction box for the 7Pin cable that is tucked up in the pin box. You can reconfigure some wires.
I ended up adding a toggle switch to that box. I wanted to be able to have the camera on without the truck hooked up. Doing this allows me to bring the monitor into the trailer and essentially use it as a security camera for my toys that I leave outside.
I’d have to go pull the panel to see how I wired it.
If you open the panel, look for what’s connected to the Yellow wire. I believe I had 2 wires connected there, one went to the camera, one to the reverse lights.
The green wire is for running lights. Once you can confirm which wire is for the camera, move that over to the green wire.
