Welcome to the forum

Moving the switch isn’t that hard, but depends on where you want to move it to. 12V is easy to move, leave the ground hooked up and just run the positive wire to the new switch location and back to the original wiring.

That said, you’ll need to figure out how to route the wire.

I hope you’re not using them while in a campground. Those damn lights seem like they always shine right into someone’s bedroom window or blind your neighbors when they’re trying to enjoy a campfire. Worst damn light they ever added to an RV and serve no purpose.

Hey now, some folks like to "get away from it all" by playing loud music, blaring an outside TV, and lighting up the site like a used "UFO" sales lot in Vegas. what's wrong with that?

Exactly…. We were once at a site where some “good neighbors” had their RV there permanently and only came on weekends. They left the eyebrow lights on all the time. Well, I actually think they had them set up on some type of dusk to dawn timer. The dang things shined right into the bedroom window of my parents RV. My dad was about ready to go cut the wires. My mom was the only thing that stopped him. If it had been a few years earlier, I don’t think she would have made a difference, he’s mellowed with age.

That would have worked too. My dad is more the type to get “upset” and make you pay for his pain. My mom wouldn’t allow him to do anything at all. She put an extra curtain over the bedroom slide window that satisfied him for sleeping purposes.

I have no intention of using them in a campground. Dont see any reason I would need them if I was in a campground. There are times when I boondock or park the trailer on my property I use them. As far as others using them in the campground I have window blackouts for every window on the trailer.
