Fridge not wired to inverter

My sprinter limited fiver doesn’t appear to be wired to my inverter, but a nearby outlet is. I do not want to pull fridge out to swap outlets every time I travel. Why would they not have it wired up to inverter?

Most likely an error at the factory. I would take it in for warranty repair, only because doing any mod yourself may void any future warranty issues with the fridge.

I fixed it. It took a while, but traced it down to wires underneath oven compartment, were swapped wrong. I swapped wires and it now works.

I’ve actually thought about buying and flipping them. Seems to be a lot of sub-standard quality assembly in this industry and I’ve found a lot of the same trouble areas and repaired them. I wonder why people don’t use eternabond tape all across the front cap and rear cap to make a permanent seal, instead of running dicor across the rubber roof.

Dicor can be removed easily, and re applied if there is a need for a repair. Eternabond is considered permanent and can be extremely difficult to remove without causing further damage to the membrane.

Forest River does use eternabond tape on some models for all seams. and NO Dicor.
