Slide gears

My right rear bunkhouse slide sometimes stops about 6 inches from completely closing.
If someone pushes it goes past where it stops and finishes closing.
Can’t see any obstruction so any ideas? Lubrication?
Thanks in advance!!

You've already ask about battery charging in another post now slide issues, I've got a strong feeling both the issues are due to bad or dead batteries.
We have no idea of what rv you have or it's age?
You have no information in your profile & no signature!
Have the batteries been properly maintained? Are they true deep cycle batteries or cranking batteries?
If the batteries are 5 years old, or more, it's time to replace them.
When posting questions give as much information as possible so we aren't guessing at a proper fix.

If you are having issues with battery charging and now with slides not fully closing, and not having any idea what rig you have, I would guess you have hydraulic operated slides and have a bad auto reset breaker that powers both the hydraulic pump motor and also feeds the inside panel. Knowing what rig you have would narrow down a diagnosis. Go to the User CP and enter a signature with your rig year and model so questions can be answered without more questions.

Knowing what type of slide mechanism will help. The motor(s) that actuate slide mechanisms are 12V so the battery suggestion seems on point and you should always be plugged into shore power when operating slides in/out.
