Gas regulator recall

I called customer service about doing the recall myself. The woman I talked to was great. She had me take pictures of the date codes and email them. I had a new regulator in a week and installed it myself. I didn’t have to deal with the dealer or hook up and tow an hour away.

What/which "gas regulator recall" are you talking about ???? The last I'm aware of was the Winntec model 6020 two-stage propane regulators that were used in model year 2019-2021 trailers.

Is there another recall that you're referring to ??????

I did the recall replacement myself when it was first announced. I bought the regulator wholesale based on their approved list (I bought new pigtails too) installed everything and tested. Sent them my bill for parts plus markup and 1 hour of my labor. In less than 10 days I had a check for $225.

I am surprised that there are still these regulators out there after all this time considering the safety issues involved?
