I lived in NJ for 55 years and been to NY city a 100 times, I have only seen a couple of the items on your list. The crowds of people and the hassle of getting around the city is not worth it. Taking a RV anywhere near there is seriously bad for the trailer, the roads are horrible. If you want to visit the city park the RV in a campground in west or north NJ, PA or upper NY and book a hotel in the city. I would then find a ride to mass transit and leave your truck at the campground. Parking in the city is horrible and most have no room for a 3/4 or full ton truck.
