The EMS looks backward toward the incoming power and does nothing to the power inside the rig. The best answer to a 120 volt breaker tripping that feeds power to the converter is that there is a problem with the 120 volt side of the converter and likely it has failed requiring replacement.

So you’re saying because a breaker tripped one time that the converter needs to be replaced?

Didn't see where it was noted the breaker held after being reset, but if it's holding, good for you, but I would suspect there is a problem. The breaker could be failing, and might actually be the problem and that would be a much cheaper repair solution.

Have you completely disconnected the converter from the output so you are only looking at the converter? Did you look at the voltage from the converter with the output wiring disconnected? Did you check those batteries which the converter is trying to push voltage into...are they toast?

Sorry for more questions but no one can give you an answer to your issue unless you eliminate something.

So the breaker is holding? No issue since resetting it?
I would probably check the batteries and the battery terminal connections.
Look for any loose wires and corrosion.

If it’s fine now, sounds like problem solved.

Yes I mentioned way back that the breaker has held after being reset.

I will attempt those steps later today.

Thanks.
