Slide out lower seal for 2001 Sprinter

Good morning all.

So my 2001 Sprinter 303BHS is in need of a new lower seal under the slideout. When I bought the used RV, ir had about 6ft of "D" shaped seal on a 12ft slide. I replace with the "D" but it doesnt seam to seal off properly. Is there something else I can use?

I was thinking something like this... https://a.co/d/io0mjsm, I just dont know if I will pinch this or not.
