Keystone shower check valve.

We have a 2021 Keystone Laredo travel trailer. I have a small leak under the shower ( where you can't get to ) that is coming from a type of check valve. It kinda looks like I may be able to tighten the end to stop it. I will have to cut a new access hole cause the one they put in is too small and not in the right place. On the picture, it's where you can see a little different color where the leak is at the far end. Just wondering if anyone has this kind or what is the name of it? Also can you just tighten it? Thanks

Those big plastic nuts are made to be hand tightened so you may want to avoid using a tool. There is a big poly washer underneath that may need replacing.

Thanks, we are full-time. I plan to cut an excess hole and check it out tomorrow. Usually has a trap but there isn't room for one. Never saw these before, other than on the water lines.

That’s called a Hepvo trap. Takes the place of traditional P traps. You can try using plumbers putty on the seals and threads.

Pay attention to the position and direction of the valve.
