Secret Decoder Ring

I apparently had to much time on my hands over the holidays so I was poking around at what the Keystone floor plan model numbers mean and found a couple of sites that had partial decodes. I have a 22RBIWE and was able to find the following

RB - Rear bathroom
I - assume refers to the Island
W - ?
E - ?

Anyone know what the last two letters mean?

Also decodes of other model first two letters.

RK means rear kitchen
RL rear living room
RE rear entertainment
BH - Bunk House

E/W may be East/West edition.

The WE designation is for Western Edition and indicates the trailer was assembled in the Pendleton, OR plant. There is no suffix indicating trailers built in the Eastern Region (Goshen, IN), so the "lack of a designation" indicates an "Eastern Edition Trailer" that was built in Indiana.

There are some "subtle differences" between trailers with the WE suffix. Some of those differences are slightly larger holding tanks, larger GVWR and, in some trailers, slightly different floorplans, GVWR and even different brands/sizes of appliances or decor.

Typically, the WE trailers are available "west of the Rockies" and trailers built in Goshen are sold "east of the Rockies".

There is some "sketchy information" available on the Keystone website, but that info seems to get further and further "lost in the shadows" every time that Keystone updates/reorganizes their internet sites.

OK... I have a Cougar 278EFS. My camper is 27.8' long. What the heck would EFS mean? Elderly Fool Stupid? I am guessing the alphanumerics are kind of arbitrary on some models.

It's like the secret decoder ring in the movie "A Christmas Story" where he had to send in Bosco lables to get the ring. I think Keystone gives you theirs after buying 10 new units. Im 9 shy now so don’t think I'll make it.

I think only the Western editions get the designation in the model number. If not noted, it's understood to be Eastern.

Jim, not sure who you asked but for me that movie and "Christmas Vacation" are 2 of my favorites there are several movies (many by Mel Brooks) that I can watch and speak the dialog ahead of the movie. It's a sickness I know.

Favorite of mine as well. I was a lifelong Clevelander before retiring to Arizona in 2017. A large portion of the movie was filmed in downtown Cleveland and the house was in a surrounding neighborhood. The department store where they shop and see Santa is actually a casino now….which is heavy on leg lamp and other themed decorations during the holidays.

The house is still there and is a popular attraction that I believe you can even rent for a night. Pretty sure all the Bumpus’ hounds are gone though!

My 2007 290RKS was also labeled 290EFS. When I questioned the dealer he said the '06 models were EFS and '07 were RKS both rear kitchen and he had no idea what the EFS stood for. But mine was titled as an '07 RKS .............. JM2˘, Hank

I can't turn off the sound during "A Few Good Men" and know the dialog especially Jack N.'s! When the missus asks me a question she knows I have no way of knowing, I reply, "I am an educated man, but can't possibly know the travel habits of one PFC William Santiago.". The missus is never suitably amused by my cleverness.

Well, I was kidding about the elderly and fool remark but I do think the S is for slide. EF is anyone's guess. My camper is titled EFS and not RKS.

I've tried and failed to decipher the secret code for our Springdale 280 FWIKL-GL. It is a rear kitchen with a peninsula. Fifth-wheel-island-kitchen-living-bigslide?
