Angry Outback 335CG

Purchased our 335CG in April...depicted as the flagship of Keystones Toy Haulers. We made one trip in it and it has been at Camping World ever since. The auto leveling system never worked (was told main computer was faulty), the garage door was manufactured such that it didn't fit, door won't close so it leaks, front slide leaks (was told that seals/flippers were not installed at the factory...other smaller issues. We've been waiting for almost 2 months to get Keystone to approve repairs (on a NEW trailer) as well as parts....nothing like investing $40K into a paper weight....SHEEESH Hoping these will be corrected and years of use is on the way. CHEERS

Sorry to hear of the problems. Every new one comes with them; just talking to the service manager at CW today about that very thing.

As far as the repairs and wait time; the pandemic is wreaking havoc on work forces and supply lines. It's now affecting every facet negatively whether it's the person working on the approval or trying to find a replacement part to trying to figure out a way to get it delivered. It is truly unbelievable. Good luck on getting it all fixed and those years of fun to come.

I'm not trying to say this to pile on you, I am really saying this for anybody who comes along later and reads the trouble you have gone through. The main Way to achieve satisfaction as a customer when buying a complicated vehicle like this is PDI, PDI, PDI.
Try everything while connected to shore power, and then try everything again while running off the generator. There are plenty of articles on by new and used RV's available.
Nowadays I can honestly say that had you spent 4 to 6 hours doing a pre delivery inspection, that rig would still be sitting at camper world, but you're $40000 would still be in your pocket. At a minimum, your rig would have moved to the front of the "get this crapp fixed line".

Hi Richard....THX for the interest. I posted on 9/20...well the issues just got worse from there and it would take several paragraphs to define what else went wrong but in short...after fighting with Keystone, they extended my original 1 year warranty for an extra 90 days and in June of 21....ALL of the original manufacturing defects as well as the frame recall has been corrected and we finally have the trailer as it should have been on day 1. A previous poster stated that we didn't do a good enough Delivery Inspection which is partially true but not completely true due to issues that reared their head after some use and towing. For now...the trailer is great and we still love it.

The original poster and they guy you replied to are one and the same; he hasn't been back since the beginning of last January.
