Forum Members at Campgrounds

Wondered if others might like to know, at a quick glance, if fellow campers are forum members?

Maybe a band of weatherproof tape on the back bumper or a sticker of some sort?

That's a pretty good idea With the teardrop groups most of us if not all have stickers and flags with our names and where we're from printed on them

But what if a moderator was in the campground and had "moderated" a member in the past?

JK, I wouldn't care.

I like to meet people with common interests. I think finding someone that is on the forum that you may have corresponded with in a campground would be a nice experience. Don't know if we need to have a special ID on the TT. If it's a keystone brand. Ask the question. JM2C.

Great idea!

My last RV was a TT by Heartland. I'm sure they have a rally scheduled in over 20 locations with more to come this year. Those with a lot of participation will have vendors show up not only to sell but take care of problems. I'm still planning on going to 2 of them with my Cougar. Wish Keystone owners were as active in that.

Im a member of the RV community forums and they sell community forums flags, we have made reservations at Big Bend http://www.lajitasgolfresort.com/def...=maverickranch. I think there mostly Class A pulling jeeps and Harley, Quartzsite rally next month we will be there for the forums rally. I would be interested in a Keystone RV forums rally.

If you are interested in either attending or organizing a Keystone RV forums rally for members of our forum, you might try starting a thread in the Rally's and Events section of the Forum.

Any rally or similar event would need, of course, somebody to take on a leadership role ---- this is almost always the hardest part in trying to make something like this happen. If there are enough "committed" members to get the ball rolling, perhaps someone will step up and "take charge".

Good luck in your endeavor.

Steve S I would never put our names on the camper, cause you never know who may try some dirt stuff in the middle of the night calling your name to get you to open the door and then its over ,Just my 2 cents

I've never had that problem, do people actually do this? When you say it's over what do you mean by that?
In the TD club there's alot of trailers flying their flags and I've never heard of anyone having a problem.

I wouldn't have an issue putting a flag or decal on. I agree I would not put my name and hometown on the RV. Too many scams going on today. If someone is outside calling your name with some made-up story to get you to unlock your door, I don't want to think I helped them by giving them my name. One reason I'm always armed.
I take "it's over" to mean: your life, it's over.

That's right gear head and yes we are armed too, you never know where you maybe for the night and I will protect my family. Yes I would put some kinda flag or sticker on but without our names ,I WOULD RATHER HAVE A GUN AND NOT NEED IT THAN NEED A GUN AND NOT HAVE ONE,TO EACH ITS OWN.

Do any of you realize how silly you sound? Poor ol' Steve won't cross over into the US and visit because he would have to be shipped home in a box, Gearhead with his belt sagging from his .44 magnum and crash worrying that some grey-hair is going to yell his name at three in the morning and steal his cold beer. What kind of places do y'all set up your RV's? (Yes, I am just having a little fun at y'all's expense) Overall I think that we have been a little harsh with the condition of travel and parks in the US.

Steve, at the risk of having some fun, I've often wondered why the RCMP wear their service weapons tied to a string - it's to keep the gun deprived citizens from stealing it

Gentlemen, gentlemen ----
Let's keep the "debate" about guns and politics out of our forum. There are other venues for these discussions and this is not one of them.

Enough.

Thank you.

The decal thing can work. I own a VeeStrom motorcycle and enjoy most conversations on that forum. We have a rally each year during the spring time in the NC mountains. But when there isn't a rally if I see someone with the StromTrooper decal on their bike its a good conversation starter. Just my two cents.
