we are Jim & Ellen from New Bern NC. We have a 2014 Keystone Cougar Lite.

The shower pan does not drain properly because the drain is not the lowest point in the shower. This problem was supposed to be repaired by Camping World but the problem still exists. We are wondering if anyone with this trailer has the same problem?

Good Afternoon Jim & Ellen and welcome to the forum. Which cougar Xlite do you have? We have a Cougar Xlite 26sab. Drain in our does not look any lower when looking at it but water does drain during and after a shower although slowly, it does drain.

Our 2014 Cougar 27 RKS doesn't drain completely. There is a small "puddle" that forms on either side of the drain. We usually just push the water over to the drain with our feet as we drip a little before opening the door.

Shower

We have the 28RLS and have to push some of the water over to the drain too. I think it's just the way the floor flexes. Hope you enjoy yours and have fun camping!

Ours you also have to push the water over to drain, seems it's pretty much a common item. Can't call it a problem just one of those things that you learn to deal with. We wipe the whole shower down after we are done, so never gave it much thought.

The problem with the pans is that the area around the drain is supported and other parts are not so they flex and create low points. A small squeegee or your foot is the easiest cure.
