So if my gas is off on the trailer it shouldn’t cause any issues?
I got a new couch for our trailer
Fits and sits so much better then the junk pull out couch that it replaced

Been too cold to work outside. Did manage to get the carpet off the step but destroyed it in the process. Have to put a few kreg holes in the base, stain and varnish the top board. Will wrap the vertical sides after installed then glue and pin nail the top on.
Found a RV Lazy Boy, sleeper loveseat in cloth. Didn't want fake leather or the price tag of most others, still was 450.
The youngins that were going to remodel this and then bailed on it got paint on 3 of the 4 chair seats. Got some sunbrella fabric, an inch of extra foam. The neutrals bore me, so tempted to spray the chairs a color but have enough to do.
How hard is it to remove and replace the slide seals?

We had lots of sunshine and a high of 66 °F today. So I decided to wash the 5er. Had lots of bugs on the front cap from last year's trips, but not anymore. Ready for this year's bugs.
Also replaced the round toilet seat with a elongated seat. Must better seat !

I replaced the carburetor in my generator, filled the propane tanks and installed two new house batteries.
Next mission is to clean the gas tank (sat with a old gas for at least 2 years) but before that, I need to learn how to operate the fuel station. 2005 Keystone Tailgator if anyone knows how!

I had an 05' Attitude so the fuel station could be similar. Mine had a timer switch inside that enabled the fuel pump outside switch-Presumably to prevent theft of your fuel. Ive seen other iterations of this so look for 2 switches.
There was also an issue with many fuel station pumps of that era where the ethanol in the gas would swell the pump gears and prevent the pump from turning. I took mine apart, took a few thousandths off of the flat face of the gears with some sandpaper stuck to a benchtop. It worked great after wards.

OK - don't laugh. Our winters in northern FL can't hold a candle to what a real winter is as experienced by our northern brethren. Regardless, we're anticipating a hard freeze here over the weekend, so I drained and blew out all the lines. I hope that is enough to prevent any issues.

I almost never used the gas side of our water heater in that rig. The shower was so annoyingly small we used the campgrounds'.

I understand that Florida oranges were already forecast to be an endangered crop this year, this is going to cap it.

Washed and waxed the 5th wheel yesterday. Was going to do the inside today but decided to take a break.

Tired of the short cutlery drawers, was room behind then so modified the slide supports and built new drawer boxes.
Grrrr, the rotated pics again.

For the life of me, I don't understand why Keystone designs big cavities and then puts short drawers in them. Our tableware drawer is so short that none of the plastic organizers would fit in it. Forget about cooking knives, they're all diagonal.

How much longer did you get out of the drawers. I hadn’t thought that far into space yet

Now I have buy new carving knifes cuz I cut the tips off so they would fit in the drawers...haha jk. Originals were 12 1/2 inches, are now 18 inches. There was close to 20 inches usable in there. It kind of bugged me and I had some time and needed a project, off work and waiting to head south for a few months.

We replaced the mattress is our rig yesterday. We got an 8-inch memory foam from American Mattress on Amazon. I opened it in the trailer yesterday, cracked the vent open a bit to help air out the new mattress smell. I closed it before going to bed last night. This morning, the odor was faint but still noticeable, so I opened the vent fully and opened the bedroom window. After about 4 hours, no more noticeable smell. The DW got home from work about 2 hours ago and asked if I wanted to go out and help her make the bed. OK. I also bought a bed scrunchie to try. We got the mattress pad on, attached the scrunchie to the fitted sheet and wrestled that into place, tightened up the scrunchie. Works like a charm! Finished making the bed except for the pillows, I want to toss them into the dryer for a bit before putting them back in the trailer. I got my solar LED porch light out of the drawer and left it on the dining table to charge. I can't find the manual for it but was able to figure out operation from reading questions and answers on Amazon. In these pictures, it's on full bright. I can set it to come on dim at sundown and stay on all night, set it to dim and then brighten when it detects motion near the trailer or off until it detects motion then it comes on full bright for 30 seconds. I need to clean off the adhesive that stayed on the side of the trailer last time I removed the light. I used self-adhesive Velcro to mount the light and when I pulled the light off in preparation for rolling down the highway the Velcro on the side of the trailer came off. I need to clean that area up and re-install the Velcro leaving it set for a longer period of time before I try to mount and dismount the light. I think I might place it a bit higher on the side of the door.

I was somewhat sympathetic about the kitchen drawers being undersized, since in my rig they back onto the weighted hose mechanism for the pull-out faucet, and you want to avoid fouling that (though I thought Keystone was overly conservative with the distance). However, the utility drawers under the pantry and the clothes drawers under the coat closet are also way shorter than they need to be given the unused room behind them. And Keystone entirely blocked off one of my three pantry shelves because they ran some TV cabling haphazardly across that space. (I fixed that first thing -- there was plenty of slack to run it round the edges, and they could have done it like I did. You don't short DW on her pantry space!) I really don't understand their priorities.

The drawers are probably the perfect size for keystones smallest trailers …it’s probably cheaper for them to just produce one size of drawers and use them in all of the rigs both wide cabinets and narrow…not right but probably so

Went in the camper to inspect after some snow and ice. Stepped on a part of the floor I don’t recall stepping on before. Heard a crunch. Stepped around some more.
The crunch was ice. It thawed out, yup, soft spot. Found a screw on the roof, that didn’t have much sealant on it, pushed on it, water came out! It looks to me like it’s deficient from the factory.
It’s where the front cap meets the roof.
Put some caulk on it for now, a temporary fix.
What do you recommend for a permanent sealant? Type, brand?
Once it warms up some, I’ll lift the flooring in that spot, cut it out and replace.
