Roof vents

My gaskets have shrunk just enough on the roof vents that when it’s cold condensation forms and they drip. Do I need to replace or just try to stretch them back?

The roof vent gasket gets dry, brittle and doesn't seal well over time. You can buy replacement gasket vinyl much cheaper than trying to replace vents or stretch/use rubber conditioner to make the bad ones last another season.

Here's one source, cheaper to buy two packages than to buy one package. Just make sure the "current seal matches the shape of the replacement. Universal is not always "fits every vent ever made"...

Do you have vent covers? this allows to be slightly open in the rain. Air flow typically reduces condensation, condensation is the result of warm moist air reaching a cold surface.
