New x2

New to RV’s and bought a New Cougar 364…3wks in we’ve attempted to have every issue possible to break us in…had a wk of frig tripping GFI, water leak under island sink, all out search for Grey tank 2 (hidden behind the wheel), random power surges took out fireplace/microwave/ bathroom GFI’s, propane ran out at midnight during a cold front setting in and found our Black tank 2 is labeled as a Grey Tank on the outside sticker. Crazy start…hope this gets better.

Welcome! It will get better or you will get better at fixing things and adapting ….either one
Get yourself a true ems protection device …either permanently mounted or plug in….not a surge protector ….to protect all the electrical systems as soon as you can

This is what I have

Welcome to the forum

Congrats and I’m glad your learning quick. As stated, get an EMS to protect your wiring. I don’t have LP tank monitors, I just carry an extra cylinder. As time goes on, I hope you don’t encounter any more issues, but if you do, this forum is your best resource.

Welcome! Sorry to hear about a your issues!
Sounds about typical of a new rv, especially nowadays.
Not to add insult to injury, but with that rv if you're attempting towing with anything but a 1 ton truck you have another issue.
With a GVWR of 13k equals very near 3k pin weight, being a bunkhouse usually means young'uns along with all their stuff thus the most payload required.

You are fortunate that RV manufacturers build all those features into a camper now so that your RV education will be accelerated. Believe it or not, we have all experienced many of these same issues. Get the suggested EMS and put together a signature by going to the UserCP and clicking; find the signature button and put in your year, make and model of camper and tow vehicle. Then when you face another frustrating issue you can ask and get an answer that has context from members who have been there and done that. Good luck. The things you see as issues today will the campfire stories for next year.
