2017 Duramax 3500 SLT

Just bought it this past week and I'm really happy. Being where I am, I won't really be towing with it until the spring. This is the first Diesel I've owned. Quite a jump from my GMC Sierra 1500.

I purchases a 2016 left over and about month ago. You got the upgrade diesel engine and I think you will enjoy towing with it.

We love our Sierra 3500HD. Got 15.4mpg hauling our 3400 to Florida and get in the mid 17s highway/city. Much better than I expected. Enjoy!!

Really great looking truck. You should really enjoy it when you start towing again. What's the payload on it?

Very nice. I couldn't imagine towing without a diesel. My 06 ram hemi got about 9mpg towing my enclosed 15x7 motorcycle trailer.

My tuned 09 duramax gets 15mpg towing my 38' camper until I hit the mountains and then it drops to 12 but all the power you could want.

Nice looking truck. Like you we had a 1500 Silverado. Upgraded to a 2016 2500 Duramax last fall. What a nice ride. Set the cruise, sit back and enjoy.

Yeah, it will be a bit before I tow much that matters but I already love it.

Thanks everyone. I've already put some miles on it traveling to basketball games. Finding reasons to take it. The darn thing is a helluva lot smarter than I am. Not really much for complaints as of yet.

Now I just need to figure out a Tonneau cover/ rack system (for my canoe) that I'm happy with and I can leave on all the time

Also, which 5er hitch I'm going to go with. First World Problems....

At least I finally pulled the trigger on the truck!

Beautiful rig!

Out of curiosity, how much payload does your decal say you can carry?
