Re: Cover Wear?
That is the reason I have a cover in like new condition, only used one year in my shed for seven years. After it wears through the white it wears through the black down to the plywood. Then it is time for an Eterna-bond patch sealed with lap sealant.
If it sounds like I am not a fan of covers ...... I'm not.
Since you may have caught it in time you have two options .... ditch the cover or figure some way to secure some form of cushion in all of the areas that may rub. I would apply a patch where the white as been removed just to be sure it is not too thin or coat it with brush on roof coating. (that is actually what the white that wore off is.)
