Bullet EZ-Lube grease seal spec

Does anyone know what size grease seals are for the Bullet EZ-Lube hubs? I have a 2019 Bullet 248rks with 14"wheels, 10x2.25 hubs. The reason I ask is that I have seen different sizes listed on the web. It looks like the bearings are the same sizes as "normal" but the grease seals seem to be larger (depending on which site lists them). PS, these are 3500 lb Dexter axles.

I have the same year and size trailer with Dexter 3,500 lb axles. When I replaced my bearings and seals, I used double lip seals which may not be Dexter OEM. If you want the OEM Dexter seals, the part number is 010-019-00 but I don’t know if they are the double lip. Either way, you want seals with an ID of 1.719” and an OD of 2.565”.

Rob and Amy, does yours have the EZ-Lube hub with the grease zerk? I think it was an option.

Yes, it has the ez-lube zerks (which I never used).

I had a spring shackle break in the middle of a long trip this past summer and when I had the wheel off to have the shackle welded, discovered the brake shoes had separated so I did a bush fix until we got home. Once home, I decided to replace all the brakes (we have about 30,000 miles on the trailer). The bearings still felt great because I clean and hand pack every spring, but since I had everything apart, I decided to replace the bearings and seals. I re-packed the old bearings, labeled which wheel they came from and put them in ziploc bags in my toolbox as spares along with a set of new seals.

Thank you very much!
