Window tint today. Mud flaps tonight, just about 150 miles as of the eve when it got parked to mow the lawn. I don’t have a long commute to work 2.3 mile I think

Nice truck!
As you already know, that Duramax/Allison is a tough combo to beat.
Had a pair of diesel duallies as our only daily drivers for 14+ years with a total of 300+k miles between them.
The DW said as the new owners pulled away with our last 5er in tow "let's go" I said "where?", she said "we're getting rid of that fat a## truck today for something smaller!".
Just saw a 42' TH pull into our park by a short bed F250. I seriously doubt he could drive at night with the headlights pointing straight up, but would be great for squirrel hunting. I'm sure the dealer said "Oh Yea! With that you can pull anything on the lot!".

Ceramic window tint all the way around.
New rubber floor mats via GM
Duraflap mudflaps also

Your daily commute will be hard on your emission systems. Need to get out on the highway on the weekends.

I’m not terribly concerned about the emissions side of it, I’ll do regens in my driveway as needed if needed. Did the same in my 17’.

Can’t wait for the mpg to increase as more miles are added. Filled up tonight for the first fill up. Fun way to spend a small fortune lol

It’s been a long winter here in Ogden Utah. Getting stir crazy to get out.

Trailer goes into the Mountianland Rv in two weeks to have the roof completely refinished.

Never got to repairing the flooring in the Toy Box so I’ll be looking at that this weekend.

Ordered GPS GENERATOR PARTS SPECIALIST Tune Up Kit for Onan RV Generators 5500 and 7000, HGJAB, HGJAC and Commercial HGJAE https://a.co/d/4kfi1SM to do an oil change on the Generator when it comes in.

Otherwise I need to get some tires checked, replace the two batteries ( suggestions welcome but not changing everything to switch to solar and such), address the sticky grey tank drain valve.

Bringing up the tank drain valve if anyone knows or has a particular part to look for with out me needing to rip off the underside id be appreciative.

Todays project 80% complete. I patched the hole in the floor that was very soft. Roof leak in two weeks

Next I need to figure out a solution to repair the hole in the ramp from the rzr coming loose.

I would like to attach a piece of diamond plate aluminum on the outside. My thoughts are some GE silicone, well placed self taping screws into metal structure of ramp and call it a new polishing surface.

The inside I’m just guessing in a decent solution first being expanding foam and then simply black paint maybe?

Suggestions?

Towed the trailer to Mountianland Rv in Logan Utah in fridays snow storm

That’s was a treat

Repair list:
Roof replacement
Two exhaust fans to max air fans
Second AC unit
Leaking black/grey water valve replacement.
See about fixing the large driver side slide.

Next was to get some new led lights for the outside lights

I tried these to replace the 1156

1156 Ba15s 1141 P21w 12v LED Bulbs, Single Contact Bayonet Base, 5W Cool White 6000K 500LM, Waterproof Light, For RV, Trailer, Boat, lawn tractors, mower. (Pack of 2) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B087JXLXYD...ing=UTF8&psc=1

Time will tell if I pull the lights off completely and instal led flood light.

I next replaced someone of the other lights with these and yes I know they are cheap, but they will work for now
In the under trailer storage areas

Aucan 20pcs Super Bright RV... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076V9XXW6...p_mob_ap_share

Again time will tell with these cheap leds

Iv also started cleaning the outside of the trailer graphics off.

It has now started a weeks worth of rain in the forecast so I’ll pause this for a little bit.

Landing gear issue is partially addressed
No grease fitting to maintain them.
I have my local RV parts guy looking at motor options for adding a second motor to the other landing gear.

I have looked into the heat vents and will be cleaning them with an Amazon dryer vent kit when that shows up, plan is a shop vac on one end and the drill and brush on the other. I’ll add a electric leaf blower if more air movement is required to remove the previous owners dog hair mess.
..don’t know if your interested in getting new graphics but ebay has quite a few different ones and here is a company that looks pretty reasonable

I’m actually just fine with it looking like hell on the outside

Going to re panel the inside at some point. Natural stained knotty alder 1/4” the whole thing would look sexy if ya ask me

Picked up the trailer yesterday. Lots of new vents, new air exhaust fans, new second Ac, and of course a fresh roof Click image for larger version

Changed the oil on the generator and added some new plugs. These look terrible

Anyone have a manual or some support for how to adjust the carb to make it not so rich?

What’s the air filter look like? If it’s dirty or you have a dirty flame flame arrestor on the carb it can run rich

From my view the air filter looked relatively clean. I can’t by any means knock anything out of it. My guess is the “service” previous owner did was a air filter and maybe oil. I think I’ll run it a few hours this next trip and then pull the plugs for verification. It does run a whole lot smoother, so maybe it just needed a full service.

When he suggests tuning with the Gen under load? On and running the AC units? Or something more basic?
