New Mud Flaps

I've been working on a set of floor mats for my new truck. I don't like the hard plastic kind that are on it. So I set out to find some. The heavy duty rubber ones are very expensive. Though I don't know by they time you include my labor and cost if I've came out ahead lol. But I really like the ones I made up. Used scrap prices of metal and made the removable from the truck if needed for whatever reason. Had a friend used his flo jet and cut out some weights for the bottoms of them in brushed stainless. All in all I like how they've turned out.

Weather finally broke in my area. So I got a chance to mount my mud flaps. They turned out pretty cool.

Thanks! I ended up adding two more 1/4-20 bolts to the top where the flaps mounts. Didn't know it something pulled on them how well three bolts would hold it in place.

I've been trying to think of something to put behind it to color the Allison emblem and lettering the OE red and blue color.

Very nice job. Maybe thin anodized aluminum, colored or painted plexi.
Good luck.

Looks great, I hate the dealer labeled ones that came stock on mine but haven't seen anything out there I would want to spend money on.
