Landing gear skips

2018 Cougar 29 foot
landing gear skips when lifting rig
I checked gearbox and lubed ..
new motor ..
when it skips it makes a noise like a gear is skipping but the legs are both staying in synchronization

what to check next

Since you say the landing gear legs are staying in sync, it could be the gearbox is slipping internally.

It could be a gear is missing a tooth, or maybe it is loose on the motor shaft. Do you hear any odd noise in the motor/gearbox?

Since my experience with this particular system is limited. perhaps one of the other members with knowledge of it will chime in.

I did dissect the gearbox .. all looked great .. I re-lubed and reinstalled ...
it seems more in the reduction part of the motor ...but that's a new motor last fall which did not correct the issue ...
I am wondering if there is a slip issue in the motor gearbox .. Hmmm baffled ...

so after more investigation it seems the skip is in the motor gearbox .... not in the main gearbox ...not sure if it may have a slip clutch ... Hmmmm
