We have a little pancake compressor that I got from HF for about $40. It's not particularly fast at pumping up those last few PSI, but it's small enough to fit in a small storage compartment. I decided to go for a 110V type rather than a 12V one because we have a generator, and if I need to run the compressor out on the road somewhere, I'll fire up the genny. I tried a few of the 12V types and was underwhelmed by all of them.
We have a small storage compartment at the back of our trailer and the compressor lives and works there. When it's running, I drop the lid of the compartment down which keeps the noise down for the neighbors in the campground.

I've got one of the Ryobi One+ units (plus a whole whack load of the 18v tools) that I really like. Dual inflator (so tires and air mattress). You can set the pressure you want and walk away. Tested it the first few times with a gauge and it was always spot on.

Have a pancake porter cable. It goes to 110 psi for the trailer tires. Have a 12v for off grid air ups viair

I just bought this and am pretty happy so far:

https://www.amazon.com/DEWALT-D55140.../dp/B000HZJMFM

It was more than I wanted to spend and it is pretty heavy for its size but I've just been through too many cheap-o compressors. At 1 gallon It's not going to blow anything of any volume up quickly but will eventually get the job done. I really like the 135psi max for HD tires. Hoping this will be the last one I have to buy for a few years.

I have a pancake compressor right now that I use for portable use. My next one will be a California Air Tools CAT-1P1060S. I have a larger model I bought about 3 years ago for my garage and I am really impressed on how it performs and how quiet it is. It is quiet, like really quiet. You could run it inside the camper with someone sleeping in the other end. My old compressor would run me out of my garage every time it would kick on.

Well I finally found one I was happy with. Guy close to home had it for half of new and it was practically new still. Super quiet and 120psi max with 4 gallon capacity so it should be plenty for anything I’ll need it for while camping. Now to just figure out what to do for an air hose.
