We're mainly beach people, and we have several trips already booked: St. Andrews SP (Panama City Beach, FL) in April, Ft. Pickens Campground (Pensacola Beach, FL) in May, Manatee Springs SP (Chiefland, FL) in June, Ft. Clinch SP (Amelia Island, FL) in September, and Oscar Scherer SP (Osprey, FL) in October. We're hoping to add a couple of more trips, too - maybe to the mountains.

We will be making our yearly trip to Tawas Point State Park in MI in July for one of our trips. Nothing else has been planed as of today.
Our son plays travel soccer & baseball so we had to cancel some trips last year do to soccer tournaments, county baseball tournaments. Then he made the All Star Baseball team after the regular season was over so that meant we only got to keep our Tawas trip and had to cancel the others.

Great Park, we go there often, and will be there 2nd weekend in May when we pull the trailer out of storage at East Tawas City park campground for the summer..

Terrance, "Our son plays travel soccer & baseball so we had to cancel some trips last year do to soccer tournaments, county baseball tournaments" might I ask you if you feel the whole family is benefiting from these experiences or just your son who may or may not end up with a scholarship.....

Playing sports may or may not have anything to do with ending up with a scholarship, depending on the child. Our daughter played competitive soccer from age 5 through college, including school and traveling teams. She also played softball through middle school (school and traveling teams), but we then told her she had to choose - there just weren't enough hours in the day, or money in the bank for both. We took our camper to tournaments if there was a convenient campground nearby. Usually, we knew the schedule, including tournaments, well in advance (except for school playoff situations).

North Higgins east or west? The east campground is closest to the beaches, the west is on the other side of the boat ramp and a longer walk to get to the playgrounds, picnic areas and beach.

If you have a boat, it's a nice ride from the North Higgins campgrounds to the other end of the lake (South Higgins campground) where there's an excellent hand dipped ice cream parlor in the campground store.

Right now we just have some short weekend type trips planned to our usual spots with family. We will undoubtedly come up with something as we get closer to camping season.

The DW and I have not planned any long trips yet, right now we are planning a short trip to James Island county park in Charleston SC in Feb, and a week in Myrtle Beach for the car show in March.

So far we have 60 plus days on the schedule for 2018. Not bad for two people who work full time. Cant wait till the first trip in April.

We have our trailer in a semi-permanent campground. Many of them are permanent but we like to go to other places a couple of times a year. Right now we are planning on going to the Kentucky Nascar Race in July and then to Summersville Lake in WV in August.

Just back from Tulsa Oklahoma and the "Chili Bowl" National midget races. 350 race cars and 20,000 fans. One of them gave me the flu.
Thinking about going to Big Bend NP in a week or 3. I've seen that part of Texas once and wasn't impressed, but everyone else seems to be, so I'll give it another shot, maybe.
Reservations at Bristol and Richmond for NASCAR. Should be a Smokey Mtn NP trout fishing trip in there too. Two new grandbabies due June 30 and July 1.

Grand Canyon 4 days, then PHX 5 days, drive through Alamagordo NM east to Grapevine TX for 4 days, then near Columbia TN for a few days-#/21 to 4/13 or so.
NC in June.
Colorado late July. Depending on medical schedules we may try to stretch this one some.
Usually try to get to MI once or twice in a summer.

Were planning on the Michigan race in June and at least the Charlotte race the end of Sept for the new road course race. I'm sure we will do others just haven't got them on the schedule yet!
