Mount TV in bunkhouse?

We have the trailer listed in signature below. The TV rests on a shallow shelf at the back wall in the bunkhouse. There's not enough clearance to turn it as far as the boys want for easy viewing while laying in bed. Is it possible to attach a movable bracket on the back wall to mount the TV?

I am sure there is. I would verify stud or mounting plate placement with your dealer first. I would also look for a bracket that you can easily take down while traveling. Movements are usually exaggerated the further back you go in a trailer and that is the very back. Would hate to get to your destination to have it laying between the slides.

No need to remove.....we don't travel in our trailer. We have a seasonal site! We do remove TVs for winter though.

I think the issue you'll face (more than travel damage) is the possibility of the kids pulling the mount off the wall as they "adjust it" while competing with each other for a better viewing angle (if you get my drift)...

If they are, at all "rambunctious", it will be very difficult to find a place in the bunk house to attach a "wall mount" where it won't be subject to the leverage of "youthful pulling"..... This may be one of those times when it may be, for the sake of not damaging the wall, where they just have to learn to look at the TV "sideways" if they want to lay in bed and watch TV......

So true, so true....even though the boys are 16 and 23!

What about mounting it on the bottom of the upper cabinet? Is that an option? Seems it may be sturdier, if there exists that type mount.
