321RES Cougar HS Ceiling Vent replacements

After a couple of hot camping trips we decided we wanted ceiling A.C. vents to not only be directional but also with louvers to close them down (in certain areas).
Finally found a place that had an exact replacement. Bought five of them and took about 25 minutes to replace them all.
Found them from D W Inc. in Elkhart, Indiana for $4.00 each. Part number is "Spaceport 8840 vent". And if you want to trim it up ( conceal screw heads) then order the "Trim Ring" for $1.50 each.
Their website is http://www.dwincorp.com/categories/1/AC-Vents
Now I can block off some of the cold air to the bathroom. Boy that toilet seat would get COLD!!!
Happy trails,

great idea. DW likes to have a cool bedroom and this will help control the flow of air for her.

Billlb800si, can you describe how the circular ceiling vents are removed? I have them in my Alpine as well. I'd like to put the closable ones in the bedroom.

That was a concern of mine also initially.
The round trim piece you must remove before you can actually remove the screws that are in the ceiling vent fixture just snap on. After you remove the trim piece you'll notice there are three little plastic tabs that snap over the screwed in vent.
Not to worry you won't break anything. I used the tip of a flat screw driver to pop off the trim pieces.
Hope this helps.
