I installed a WiFi Ranger for our RV and although it seems to work well, I believe it’s overpriced for what it actually does. Basically it’s “off-the-shelf” hardware that has custom software to make it a bit more user friendly. So if you are on a budget, look at other options like the Alfa Camp Pro II.
I did replace the omnidirectional antenna with a Yagi with 14 dbi gain that’s mounted on a FlagPole buddy along with my cell booster antenna. With the FlagPole buddy, it puts the antennas way above the roof of the RV and gives it a bit more clearance if other RV’s are parked nearby, and I can easily turn the yagi towards the signal source. You know us hams, we love to tinker with antennas
