Greeting and welcome to the forum!

Sorry to hear you are having issues with the furnace in your RV.

From your description, it sounds like the furnace may be in a lockout mode, and to clear that, try turning off the power to the thermostat and furnace for 20-30 seconds to initiate a reset. Now power it back up and see if the fault is cleared.

Since the RV is new, is your dealer close by? Perhaps he could help as well.

I'm sure others will chime in, so don't worry-there are many very knowledgeable folks on this forum.

Stay safe,

Gary

Would that be the switch that is showing off and reset?

First off welcome to the forum and thank you for taking on a HUGE task. Now as to your furnace:

If there is an on/off switch located on the furnace itself turn it off. then after about 10 minutes try again. There are a number of steps the furnace takes prior to ignition. Did it EVER work?

Your welcome. If that doesn't do it, I would schedule an appointment with the dealer. tell them that your full timing and it might get you a "waiter" appointment, Don't change any parts or tell them that YOU have changed anything as it may void your warranty.

I bought a new 2020 Montana HC 331RL. Furnace worked fine on PDI and walk through. Drove it home 55 miles, sat in the side yard for 2 days while we sorted things, took it to a local RV park to give it a test drive and....no furnace. Wouldn't try to do anything. Did not look at the lights because the dealer said bring it in, park in front of the bay and we'll fix it while you are here, and, in 45 minutes it was running perfectly. Issue was a bad control board which they "redirected" for me.

I'm leaning towards the board like Danny's. Too bad the warranty requires an OEM board as replacement. Dinosaur boards are so much better.
