Hi from NM

Just picked up a used 2015 Outback 286 FRL. Looking forward to getting it road ready and learning about it. This is our 5th trailer in 3 decades.
Any others out there with this vintage?

Thanks. BTW, I tried to add a signature and pic yesterday but it doesn't show up. Does it usually take a while, or so many posts required?

Bye to all, lol.
Just sold the 286FRL...it was just too big for our camping style.
Looking for something smaller now, maybe 30' max by 12' tall, like a Grand Design 260RD (2021). We checked out a cougar 24rds, but it felt cheap compared to the GD even though it had a few features we prefer.
Thanks to all the support I got here in fixing up the keystone to eventually sell, although that was not our intent. It was not really usable when I bought it, but I did not know that at the time.
Hint, don't buy a used unit that was used only once a year by folks that didn't know how to use it anyway...
I guess I broke even or maybe got paid for all my work on it.
Happy trails...

No need to leave! A GD is just a wanna be Keystone! Started by Keystone folks so they are all genetically entwined. Pick what feels good to you but they're the same "in the bones".

From a born and bred New Mexican and then transplanted to FL some 19 years ago (what was I thinking!) hope you find the one that fits. Take care and stick around anyway like Sourdough said.

Good luck with that!
Regardless what name is on it it's still a RV (repair vehicle). You traded your fixed problems for ones yet to be determined.

May be true but still irrelevant...the keystone did not fit our lifestyle so it is gone. We've had new ones before and warranty repairs are expected.
Saw a nice forest river sabre 270rl today, 2021.
But yeah, I'll probably not visit here much longer so I'll 'make friends' on another forum to commiserate with folks with the same brand. BTDT
Buh bye
