Cougar 29BHS

Picking it up Wednesday! First time Keystone owner, but not a newbie to campers. We've been doing this for over 30 years, this will be our 8th (and hopefully last for a while) travel trailer.

We've done everything from tents to pop ups to travel trailers to 5ers. Trading in a 2013 Gulf Stream Ameri-Lite on the Cougar, and we're really looking forward to the upgrade!

Not new to forums either, so before I ask a question that's been asked 900 times in the last 2 days, I will try to remember to use the search feature

anyway, Papachaz and Granna, coming from NW GA.

Welcome! We bought a 2019 29BHS last year and recently we have found out that there was a "cutover" sometime in the year and we have the "early" version.
One thing to check early on is if you have the LED strips on the front cap, look where the wires go into the body. Ensure that there is some silicone stopping any moisture in that hole.
Enjoy the trailer and have fun! It is a great design!

Picked it up last Wednesday. Pulled like a dream coming home. Parked it in the driveway and loaded it up, then put her in her personal garage, LOL

We made reservations to take it to the lake 30 minutes from home for a couple days/nights this week to make sure we're 'familiar' with all it's features. There are a few things I've never had before, auto level and electric awning....but for the most part, I'm just itching to get busy using it! We've already had reservations for the end of the month, but 2 hours from home and we didn't want the maiden voyage to be that far away.

thanks for the warm welcome!
