Greetings from Wisconsin

Hello all,

The wife and I are empty nesters now and decided to get out of town more often. We have done the tent thing for years and love hiking/kayaking and photographing new places.

We ordered a Passport 2890RL yesterday and look forward to using it. It is our first TT experience. I used to drive my parents MH to AZ in the winter and fly home to WI so I have a little experience setting up stuff.

I tend to over research everything and then have buyers remorse for a couple weeks after pulling the trigger so I'm waiting for that to kick in.

Thanks for having this place where we can torment people with a never ending supply of stupid questions. I know, I know, please use the search bar to find those questions already asked.

Welcome to the forum from Pennsylvania. There's a wealth of knowledge on this site, and yes you will probably see another unit you like more in the near future [emoji13]

At least you didn't go from a 21-foot Shasta to a 12-foot Little Guy like we did. That one definitely didn't work out for us. Have fun camping. It's our favorite thing to do.

Congrats on the purchase. We upgraded to the 2890RL last summer and love it. I am only 2 hours south of you so if you have specific questions answered quick, don't be afraid to send me a private message. Tons of info here.

Thanks! Right now we are trying to figure out what we need and what we don't. I think as long as we start with toilet paper we can figure it out from there.
