Not sure what you mean by a winterize switch. Is it an electric switch or a valve?
The only way to be sure what that unmarked hose connection would be is to trace the hose. If it goes to the input line of the water pump, then it is what you suspect.
If it goes somewhere else, describe or take pics and let us know.
Typically, if your rig has the winterizing antifreeze hookup, it is a two-way valve and 2-3 ft of clear hose located by the water pump. It should be on the input side of the pump so that the pump can draw antifreeze and pump it out to the entire system. On mine the hose is removable and is replaced by a threaded cap for normal use.
