Fuzion 393 Slide out Issue

Hello Everyone,
Newbie here...

My 2008 Keystone Fuzion 393 Slide outs won't deploy but will retract.

On shore power, no obstructions, level surface. They go out just fine manually..
Any thoughts on troubleshooting?

Welcome to the forum

What type of mechanism? If they are cable, it may be the gearbox.

If I'm reading what you posted correctly, I'd check your battery, battery cables and the "mini-breakers" that the battery cables connect to....

Here's what I read "into" your post:

The slides won't extend but they retract when on battery power
The slides work properly (extend and retract properly) when on shore power.

The only difference in the "two conditions" (battery power/shore power) is the addition of the converter when on shore power, to augment the battery....

Seems to me the battery just doesn't have enough "oomph" to push the slide out under its own power, but it works OK when the converter helps.....

Check your battery, battery cables and the mini-breakers.

Just to clarify, while on shore power, the slides come in but won't go out....

I'm thinking the switch is the issue, looking for 12V troubleshooting scheme for the switch, unless I've missed the obvious..

Thanks in advance..

The slide motor will only have two wires. Polarity is reversed to change direction, so you need to find 12V coming into switch, and then you can determine 12V going out.
