We store the Kurig and the ice maker on the floor between the bed and wall. Never had an issue. NOTHINGis stored on the countertop. We have a plastic open weave mat in both sides of the silk and items like the water purifier, hand soap, etc. go there when underway.

Nope, Kerig stays in the cool little appliance cabinet with the folding doors... right next to the toaster and rotating coffee pod thingy.

No….nothing left on the counters. Coffee maker (Keurig) is in the sink for transport.

Sort of like asking: If I glue my butt to the seat, do I still need to wear a seat belt" ???
I wouldn't trust anything to "glue an appliance" (especially one with glass parts) on any counter in a moving "roller coaster"....

Nothing on the countertops for me ..everything goes in a cabinet while traveling..we have more cabinets then we have stuff to put in them
The post last week about securing the microwave turntable was an eye opener for me…wife never mentioned the turntable was all askew whenever we reached a campground …luckily it didn’t break anything…now that also goes in a cabinet. Heavy things go in lower cabinets

^^^^There's something wrong. I've got tons of space but can usually buy something to fill it up. Need to grab you a CW catalog or hit the RV upgrade sites on the internet. You'll be amazed at how much stuff is out there that you REALLY need that you just didn't know about.....

Just walk thru your kitchen at home and look in the cubboards. Star tmaking a list..coffee maker - check!, toaster - check!, portable icemaker-Check!, pots/pans-check! We're camping with our 7 and 8 year old grand daughters this week. Bought a bunch of fruit at a local market. When we came back they wanted to make smoothies, damned, I knew I forgot something. Need to bring the extra blender from gome next time.

musuem putty
Thanks to all for your fun remarks! Just to be clear, we have camped for years pulling a longer horse trailer than our new rig, with large LQ. And so I've used bungies, the sink and the cupboards for the necessary kitchen items. But had seen on a full-time RVers YouTube that they locked many items like a coffee maker down with the putty. Evidently it is not used THAT much!! Ours is a small keurig that usually sits just fine on a little end table with lips.... Don't have that in the new rig. So just saying thanks, and I'll be sure that the margarita materials and the beer are all secure! Rolling on...

I use museum putty for lighter weight things like a small spice rack and an extension cord etc. Our coffee pot is fairly heavy, so I won't do that with ours. But, a small Keurig might work. I also use the putty for our Satellite dish receiver on top of the bedroom dresser, it keeps it from sliding around.

I saw a video where they used a putty product to hold down things on walls and countertops in their RV. I bought some museum putty it didn’t hold anything, maybe I just got a bad batch
I think they mention floral putty so I’m going to try that next because there are things I don’t wanna put away when traveling I would love to have them stay in place.

Museum putty
Used velcro for kuerig and toaster oven for several years. Traveled many miles and nothing moved. It may be hard getting one side off counter but happy with things now.

I use small bungee cords to hold all of my items. I put cup hooks into the wall on the counter to wrap around my toaster, coffee maker, and water pot. Larger items go into a cupboard.

3M Command strips work great to keep things moving in place on the counters & hanging stuff on the walls. The trick is use alcohol to clean both surfaces & if you think 2 should hold it use 4. We had several pictures, clocks & other items hung on the wall for 6 years, never had any fall off, once removed no evidence they were ever there.
Tried the museum putty, it did not hold & a couple spots stained the wall blue where the putty was placed.

Anything we want to stay in place we use the putty like decorative pieces or toaster oven. The TV sound bar has putty under it.
The coffee maker usually sits in the sink or tote in case any residual water leaked. It also gets moved in camp sometimes.
Outside kitchen the microwave and ice machine is secured by putty.
Putty is great as long as you don’t plan on moving it around when in camp.
